How do I enable voicemail transcription?

Turn on voicemail transcription for lines, ring groups, or shared voicemail boxes.

Before you begin: You must have admin or super admin permissions.

  1. Log in at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
  2. Click Lines, Ring Groups, or Shared Voicemail Box in the left sidebar and then click the specific line, ring group, or shared voicemail that you want to update.
  3. From Voicemail > General Options, enable Include Voicemail Transcription.
  4. Optional: Customize the email notifications and voicemail options.
  5. Click Save.
What to do next: Once enabled, users will see the voicemail transcription in their app or in their email copy of the voicemail if Email Notifications is enabled.
