What extensions are reserved?
The following combinations are not accepted by your system as extensions because they are reserved for other functions (e.g., emergency calls, directory assistance, etc.)
Note: Using a reserved extension as a prefix to create an extension is also not accepted. For example, 1124 will not be accepted as an extension because the system detects 112 as a reserved extension.

Note: When dialing a non-reserved shortcode, the system will first check to see if that code is an extension on your account. If it is, the call will ring to your extension rather than going out of your system. We recommend you avoid using popular shortcodes as extensions.
