How do I prepare my phone system for a holiday?
- If you're an admin uses GoTo Admin, you will sign in at https://admin.goto.com.
- If you're an admin uses PBX Administration (classic), you will sign in at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
Then choose what you would like to do to get your system ready for the holidays.
Update dial plan
Update your current dial plan if you will have employees or departments taking time off.
Record holiday greeting
Record a holiday greeting. This greeting sound clip can be added to your dial plan in a later.

Customize hold music
Customize your hold music system-wide, on specific lines/extensions, ring groups and/or call queues to holiday specific songs.
Update schedule
Create/update your schedule for adjusted operating hours
Create a holiday for closed hours
Add schedule/holiday to dial plan
