Before you begin: You must be
set up as a user and be assigned the
admin role (for Contact Center) or the
manager role (for Customer Engagement). Make sure you have set up an
inbox queue and have a
Facebook account with at least one business page. Visit
Facebook if you need help with your account setup, login, or pages.
Restriction: GoTo's WhatsApp integration supports inbound messaging only. Outbound messages cannot be sent from your WhatsApp phone number and WhatsApp calling is not supported.
What to do next: When an inbound message is sent to your WhatsApp phone number, the message will appear in the
shared inbox for team members to interact with. Messages from WhatsApp must be responded to within 24 hours time period. If the conversation has reached 24 hours with no response, you will need to reply in the WhatsApp app directly.
