How do I switch a call between devices?
Use call flip to transfer a call between multiple devices assigned to a single user.
Note:
- There are no permission checks currently in place, such as requiring the dialable password.
- If there are multiple active calls, you cannot choose which one will flip. It will be a random system selection.
- You can flip a call that is waiting in a queue, is in the process of being transferred, or has not been answered.
Desktop & Web app
- While on an active call on another device, open the desktop or web app.
- Select Active call on another device at the top of the screen and then select Pick up to complete the switch to the desktop app.
- The call will be automatically ended on the original device. This change will be transparent to the other party.
Softphone Experience

- While on an active call on another device, open the desktop or web app.
- Select Active call on another device at the top of the screen and then select Pick up.
Mobile app
- While on an active call on another device, open the mobile app.
- Tap Active call at the top of your screen.
- Tap Take the call to complete the switch to the mobile app.
Desk Phone
- While on an active call, dial *77 from the device you want to continue the call on.
- The call will be automatically ended on the original device. This change will be transparent to the other party.
