How do I transmit a page?
Before you can successfully page, your phone must have a paging profile assigned by a system admin.
Page from a Polycom Phone
- Polycom devices are only able to send and receive pages to Polycom and Yealink devices.
- You cannot put a call on hold and then page out successfully.
- Reboot the phone for the paging softkey to appear.
- Press the Paging softkey (displays within the idle screen).
- Select the desired zone(s) you'd like to page (Paging Group).
- Press the Page softkey (displays in the bottom right of the screen).
- Press the End Call softkey or simply hang up the phone to end the page.
Page from a Cisco Phone
- Can only subscribe to two zones.
- Can only transmit to five zones.
- Cisco devices are only able to send and receive pages to other Cisco devices.
- The multicast paging button is only available on certain newer models of Cisco phones.
- Dial *96 + two-digit paging zone number or use the multicast paging button on your phone (e.g., to page zone 01, dial *9601).
- Hang up the phone to end the page.
Page from a Yealink Phone
Before you begin: In addition to having an assigned paging profile, multicast paging must also be set up in
Button Configuration for Yealinks.
- Can only subscribe to 10 zones.
- Yealink devices are only able to send and receive pages to Yealink and Polycom devices.
- Press the multicast button on your phone.
- Enter the paging zone number you wish to reach.
- Hang up the phone to end the page.
Page from a Panasonic Phone
Before you begin: Depending on your model, you may need to navigate to the device web interface and enable
Send Paging under Multicast Paging.
- Can only subscribe to 10 zones.
- The Panasonic KX-UT670 is not supported.
- Panasonic devices cannot page to Polycom devices.
- Press the Paging softkey (displays within the idle screen).
- Select the number of the desired zone(s) you'd like to page (Paging Group).
- Press the Page softkey (displays in the bottom right of the screen).
- Press the End Call softkey or simply hang up the phone to end the page.
