What security does the Web App use?
Just like the desktop app, the Web App is backed by robust mechanisms and protocols designed to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity for data that is transmitted between the GoTo infrastructure and users, and data stored within the GoTo systems on behalf of its users for cloud recordings, transcriptions, and meeting notes.
However, joining sessions from a “locked-down” environment can be faster and easier with the
Web App than with the desktop app, since a download is not required.
Note: Some proxies and firewalls may prevent the Web App from launching.
