How do I delete a phone number?

Remove unnecessary numbers directly from your account.
Before you begin: You must have Admin or Super admin permissions.
- Sign in to PBX Administration (classic) at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
- Select Phone Numbers in the left sidebar.
- Select next to the phone number(s) that you want removed.
- Select Delete once you have redirected or removed any resources currently associated to the phone number(s).
Result: Customers under contract for a set number of phone numbers will not be able to lower their monthly bill beyond the contracted amount. You can reactivate the number at any time during this 30-day window by opening the phone number detail page and then selecting Reactivate in the top right. After the 30 days, the number is permanently deleted.
