How do I assign a business continuity device to my phones?
Choose the default business continuity device for all your phones to use during an Internet disruption or a complete outage.
Before you begin:
You must have admin or super admin permissions.
- Verify you have a business continuity device installed on your system.
- Sign in at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
- Select System Settings in the left sidebar.
- From , set JBC to Use and then choose the desired business continuity device.
- Select Save.

Tip: If you need to change the business continuity device on individual phones:
Now set up your
business continuity status alerts and
network quality alerts.
- Select Devices in the left sidebar.
- Select the device that uses a different business continuity device than the default.
- From , set JBC to Use and then choose the desired business continuity device.
