OpenVoice Outlook Plugin Help
Here are some troubleshooting solutions for common problems with the Outlook plugin.
Invalid Login and Conference Numbers
If you have not entered in your credentials correctly (see Configure the Outlook Plugin ) and then click the Schedule OpenVoice Conference button, you will see the following error.
Solution — See Configure the Outlook Plugin and verify that your credentials are correct.
Microsoft Outlook Is Not Found
While installing the OpenVoice Outlook Plugin, you may see either of the following messages. This means that the installer is unable to find the correct information to verify your Microsoft Office installation.
Solution — Reinstall Microsoft Office. If the issue persists, please reach out to your IT department to fix your Microsoft Office installation.
Failed Version Retrieval
If you have not configured the OpenVoice Outlook Plugin with the correct proxy settings, you may see an error message.
Solution — See Configure the Outlook Plugin and verify that your credentials are correct.
Unable to see Conference Call Number in other Calendar Systems
When using other email calendar systems apart from Outlook, users cannot see the conference call number in the subject line of their conference invite.
Solution — We recommend that you select the “Additional Numbers” check box to view these conference call numbers in the body of the conference invite.Be sure to Edit the Default Toll/ Toll-Free Number List to choose the countries you would like to include for your meeting.
OpenVoice Outlook Plugin is not available on Apple Macs
Mac users who wish to send OpenVoice invites cannot use Outlook because OpenVoice Outlook Pugin is not supported on Mac machines.
Solution — Use the OpenVoice for GoogleCalendar extension. You can schedule your OpenVoice conferences from the web, and then create a custom email signature that lists your OpenVoice dial-in number(s) and Conference Room ID. Use this signature when creating your calendar invites.
