How do I assign a JBC device to my phones?

Choose the default JBC device for all your phones to use during an Internet disruption or a complete outage.

You must have admin or super admin permissions.

  1. Verify you have a JBC device installed on your system.
  2. Log in at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
  3. Click System Settings in the left sidebar.
  4. From General > Defaults, set JBC to Use and then choose the desired JBC device.
  5. Click Save.
Tip: If you need to change the JBC device on individual phones:
  1. Click Devices in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the device that uses a different JBC device than the default.
  3. From Device Settings > General Settings, set JBC to Use and then choose the desired JBC device.
  4. Click Save.
Now set up your JBC status alerts and network quality alerts.
