How do I manage my contacts in the app?

    Add, update, or delete external contacts and control who shows up in your favorites.

    Your internal directory is automatically added to GoTo.

    Desktop & Web App

    Select Contacts in the left navigation menu.
    Contact Management How-to
    To add a contact
    1. Select Add Contact Icon.
    2. Enter the new contact's information.
    3. Select Save.
    To add a shared contact
    Attention: Only available Customer Engagement and Contact Center customers.
    1. Select + Create.
    2. Enable the check box next to Save as shared contact.
    3. Enter the new contact's information.
    4. Select Save.
    To favorite a contact
    1. Search for a contact's name, extension, or number.
    2. Choose a contact from the results.
    3. Select Favorite Icon. Select it again to remove the contact from your favorites.
    To edit a contact
    Note: You can only edit contacts you have added.
    1. Search for a contact's name, extension, or number.
    2. Choose a contact from the results.
    3. Select Edit contact.
    4. Make any necessary changes and then select Save changes.
    To delete a contact
    Note: You can only delete contacts you have added.
    1. Search for a contact's name, extension, or number.
    2. Choose a contact from the results.
    3. Select Edit contact.
    4. Select Delete contact in the bottom left.
    To import contacts
    Note: Integrate with Outlook to import your Outlook contacts.
    To import shared contacts
    Attention: Only available Customer Engagement and Contact Center customers.
    Note: Contacts imported from CSV are automatically created as shared contacts.
    1. Select drop-down carrot icon next to + Create.
    2. Select Import from CSV.
    3. Follow the instructions provided and import the CSV. A template is available if needed.
    4. Select Import.

    Mobile App

    Tap Mobile Contact Icon.

    To favorite a contact

    To block a contact
    1. Search for a contact's name, extension, or number.
    2. Choose a contact from the results.
    3. Select Block Contact and then select Block to confirm.
      Note: To unblock, select Mobile Settings Icon > Phone > Blocked Numbers, choose the contact, select Remove Block and then select Unblock to confirm.
