How do I integrate with Microsoft Outlook?

    Integrate your phone system or meeting details with Outlook. Share your Outlook contacts with your GoTo Connect contact list and select a phone number within Outlook to initiate a call.

    You must have a Microsoft account to use this integration.

    Before you begin: The new GoTo Outlook add-in doesn’t support all browsers (for example, IE11). If you’re on an unsupported browser, you will get a Old version of Outlook detected message and the old GoTo Meeting Office 365 Outlook Add-In will be installed instead. In this case, only events will be synced. Learn more about browsers used by Outlook add-ins.
    Restriction: This Outlook Integration does not work with private hosted versions of exchange.
    Note: The Microsoft Outlook integration login session expires after 7 days.
    Attention: We recently merged the GoTo Connect and GoTo Meeting for Outlook integrations. GoTo Connect users can expect to see a change in the integration name to GoTo for Outlook.

    Outlook for Desktop

    Before you begin: You must have Outlook 2016 or newer (Mac) or Outlook 2019 or newer (Windows) to use this integration. Syncing your Outlook contacts requires an Office 365 account.
    1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Microsoft Outlook Add-Ins Icon or Get add-ins from the toolbar in the home tab.
      Tip: If you cannot find the Add-in icon in the toolbar, select File > Manage Add-ins. To learn more, view Installing Office Add-ins to Your Mailbox.
    2. Search for GoTo for Outlook then select Add.
      Troubleshooting: If you do not have access to Office add-ins, you can manually enter a custom add-in. Select + Add a custom add-in > Add from URL..., then enter https://ucci-outlook-addin.live.gtc.goto.com/manifests/manifest.prod.xml. Select OK > Install.
    3. When prompted with the privacy policy, select Continue.
    4. Select GoTo Integration from the toolbar in the home tab then log in with your GoTo Connect credentials.
    5. Select your extension and language.
    6. Select Link with Office365 then link your account from the integrations dashboard.

      Result: Your Outlook contacts now appear in GoTo and you can dial phone numbers directly from an email.You can close out of the GoTo Integration window.

      Note: To view your organization’s Outlook company contacts, your O365 global admin needs to enable importing company contacts.

    What to do next: When you initiate a call from the app, it first sends the call to your desk phone or softphone (the app must be open), waits for you to pick it up, and then finally completes the call to the outbound number.
    Note: You cannot make outgoing calls from the newest version of Outlook for Mac yet.
    When you schedule a meeting, select GoTo Integration in the toolbar to attach and remove your meeting details directly from Outlook.

    Outlook on the Web

    Before you begin: For the integration to work properly, you must disable the block the Block third-party cookies setting in your Security and Privacy.
    Note: Syncing your Outlook contacts requires an Office 365 account.
    1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Microsoft Outlook Add-Ins Icon at the top of an email. If you don't see the icon, select Microsoft Outlook Web Three-Dot Icon then Get Add-ins.
      Tip: If you cannot find the icons and need to troubleshoot, view Installing Office Add-ins to Your Mailbox.
    2. Search for GoTo for Outlook, then select Add > Continue.
      Troubleshooting: If you do not have access to Office add-ins, you can manually enter a custom add-in. Select + Add a custom add-in > Add from URL..., then enter https://ucci-outlook-addin.live.gtc.goto.com/manifests/manifest.prod.xml. Select OK > Install.

      Result: The add-in will automatically be pinned to your email and calendar for easy access. Select Unpin add-in to unpin.

    3. From an email, select Microsoft Outlook Web Three-Dot Icon then GoTo for Outlook > GoTo Integration.
      Note: To easily access the integration, you can add the icon to the top of your emails.
    4. Select Sign in in the right sidebar, then sign in using your GoTo Connect credentials.
    5. Optional: Choose your extension and language.
    6. Optional: Select Sync contacts and link your account from the integrations dashboard.

      Result: Your Outlook contacts now appear in GoTo Connect.

      Note: To view your organization’s Outlook company contacts, your O365 global admin needs to enable importing company contacts.
