Keep track of all the GoTo Network Test probes in your organization so that you can stay up-to-date on the performance of your team's network and run tests when needed.
Before you begin: You must be assigned an Admin or Super admin
role to perform this task.
- Sign in to GoTo Admin.
- From , you will see a list of all the current probes associated with your account and their system information.
Tip: Use
to filter and organize the fields as desired. If you drill down to a specific probe, you can use the breadcrumb on the top-left to go back to the main list or use the arrows to navigate each probe's detail page.

Add a new probe to a device |
Download and install GoTo Network Test on the desired device.
Tip: For ease of use, we recommend that you encourage all users to utilize the desktop GoTo app as it will perform network testing and provide a summary without any manual configuration.

Add an alert to a probe |

Edit an existing probe's name |
- Choose the desired probe.
- Select the Overview tab if not already selected.
- Select Edit in the Details card.
- Change the name.
- Select Save when complete.

Run a test on a probe |
- Choose the desired probe.
- Select the Overview tab if not already selected.
- Select the Start test button on the top-right of the Network test results card.
The GoTo Network Test will be launched in a new browser tab. Any ongoing tests will be stopped when you select Start test. |
View health and history of a probe |
- Choose the desired probe.
- Select the History and health tab.
- View histograms and/or a list of network tests to understand recent network latency, connectivity (packet loss), jitter variation, and average network quality (MOS score).

View all probes on a map |
Enable the Map view feature on the top-right. Zoom in and out or filter by quality as needed to view probes and network quality. |
