1. Start or join a webinar.
2. Select Share.
3. Select the desired screen or app and then select Share again.
   Tip: From the preview window, you can choose if you want to include the media sound (browser or Windows desktop only), include the GoTo interface, or optimize for video (this setting maintains the video frame rate by decreasing the resolution if necessary) where applicable before sharing.

   Troubleshooting: Mac presenters may notice PowerPoint closing out of full screen mode when they click anywhere within the GoTo Webinar Control Panel. Please update your PowerPoint slide show setting to prevent this from happening by selecting Slide Show > Set Up Slide Show and then under Show Type, select Browsed by an individual (window) > OK.

4. To pause or resume your screen, select the arrow by Share and then select Pause sharing or Resume sharing.
5. To share a different screen, select the arrow by Share and then select Share something else.
6. To draw on your screen for everyone to see, switch to flexible layout mode and then select . Select the desired pen color and transparency from the menu, and then use the mouse to annotate on the shared screen.
   Tip: Enable Fade out drawings to automatically remove annotation after some time.

   Important: Currently only the active presenter on the desktop app can use drawing tools. To have attendees use the drawing tools, presenters need to grant an attendee remote control access or screen sharing permissions. See Use remote control for help. You also need to be on the desktop app in flexible layout mode to use this feature.
7. To stop screen sharing, select Share again or Stop sharing.
8. To make someone else the active presenter, select their name from the People pane and then select Make Presenter > Yes.

1. Open the GoTo mobile app on your device.
2. Start or join a webinar.
3. Tap More > Share > Start now (Android) or Start Broadcast (iOS).
4. To stop sharing your screen, tap Stop Screen Sharing or Stop Broadcast.

1. From the Screen Sharing pane, use the drop-down menu to select the portion of your screen you would like to share:
   • Main monitor, secondary monitor, or both monitor screens — This shares the entire screen of one or both of your monitors (if more than one is configured). Be sure to close any windows you do not want to share before proceeding.
   • Clean screen checkbox or screen of main monitor, secondary monitor or both monitors (CLEAN) — This shares your screen while hiding your background, task bar, and desktop icons. Be sure to close any windows you do not want to share before proceeding.
   • Application — This shares only the specific application that you select and hides the rest of your screen.
   • Rectangle (Labs) — This shares only a specific portion of your screen, which you can choose by moving a floating frame around your screen. This option is only available in the drop-down menu.
     Note: Sharing with "Screen (Clean)" and "Rectangle (Labs)" are not available to Mac organizers. If you wish to share a PowerPoint presentation on a Mac, you must first put the presentation into slide show mode and then select "PowerPoint Slide Show" in the Application window. If you do not, attendees will continue to see the main PowerPoint window instead of the slide show, and they will not see your slides advance.
2. Select the Play button to begin broadcasting your screen to attendees. You can change which part of your screen to share using the drop-down menu at any time.

   Result: An "ON AIR - Showing screen" message will appear at the top of the Screen Sharing pane, and the Play button will switch to Pause.

3. To pause your screen share, select Pause.

   Result: A "Paused" message will appear at the top of the Screen Sharing pane, and the Pause button will switch to Screen Sharing. The image of the screen currently being shown will freeze until you stop or restart the broadcast.

4. To resume screen sharing, select the Play button again.
5. To stop screen sharing, select the Stop Showing Screen button.

   Result: When you stop screen sharing, attendees will see the Hallway again and a message that the organizer's screen is not being shared.

What to do next: Use the Audience View pane to see a thumbnail view of what attendees are currently seeing. This helps you confirm that attendees are seeing what you want them to see (and remind you to turn on screen sharing if you've forgotten). In addition, a green bar at the top of the pane displays a percentage of how many attendees have the Viewer at the forefront of their screen (versus those who have it in the background and are not attentive). To see which specific users are attentive and which are not, open the Attendees pane and look for the Non-Attentive icon (This applies to the desktop app and iPad app only).

1. From the Screen Sharing pane, use the drop-down menu to select the portion of your screen you would like to share:
   • To share your entire desktop, select Main Screen.
   • To share an application, select the desired application in the menu. Only applications that are currently open (i.e., not minimized) will be shown.
   

   Result: You will see a preview of your selection indicated by a green highlight.

Use drawing tools to draw and highlight directly on the shared screen as desired to better call attention to the important parts. The marks are visible to all attendees.

1. To start drawing;
   1. Select the Drawing Tools button in the Grab Tab.
   2. Use the menu to select the desired drawing tool (pen , highlighter , spotlight or arrow ). You can also change the pen color, if desired.
   3. Click and drag the mouse over your desktop to start drawing on the shared screen.
2. To erase all drawings, select the Drawing Tools button in the Grab Tab again, and then select Erase all drawings.

   Result: All drawings done by any participant will immediately disappear.

3. To enable/disable drawing tools for an individual; right-click the desired participant's name from the People pane, and then select Allow Drawing.

   Result: Once enabled, a Check icon will appear next to Allow Drawing. The attendee will see a Draw icon in the Viewer menu where they can then click and drag the mouse over the Viewer to make their drawings appear on the shared screen for all participants. When drawing tools are disabled for the user, the Check icon will disappear.

2. Click Slide Show in the top toolbar then Set Up Slide Show.
3. Under "Show type", select Browsed by an individual (window) and click OK.
4. When you begin screen sharing in GoTo Webinar, click Applications and select the PowerPoint you want to share.
