How do I share my screen?
Presenters can share their screen to attendees during a webinar at any point. You can choose to share your entire screen or a single application.
If you are not an organizer, you will need to be made a presenter, organizer, or panelist before you will have the ability to share your screen.
Desktop app or web
Before you begin: Make sure you have allowed GoTo Webinar access permission as needed.
- Start or join a webinar.
- Select Share.
- Select the screen or app you want to share and then select Share again.
- To pause or resume your screen, select the arrow by Share and then select Pause sharing or Resume sharing.
- To share a different screen, select the arrow by Share and then select Share something else.
- To stop screen sharing, select Share again or Stop sharing.
What to do next: When you begin screen sharing, a You're sharing your screen tile will appear in the GoTo app which helps you confirm that others are seeing what you want them to see. Your camera filter must be set to Everyone in order to see this tile. If you are not in Presenter mode, you can pin the tile so it is enlarged on your screen. If you are on an iPad, use the Audience View toggle to show/ hide the preview.
