How do I find my recordings?
Depending on the type of recording your account is set to, the session recording is available in your online account (online recording) or saved on your computer (local recording).
I'm using online recording.
If your account is set to
Save recordings online in the cloud, your recordings are available and searchable in the
online account of the person who started the recording.
Select
and then enable the Recorded setting to filter recorded sessions.
Troubleshooting: If you don't see a recorded session, use the filter to expand the list from the last 7 days to 30 days or 12 months as needed. If the desired recording you want to manage was recorded locally, it will not be available here.
What to do next: See
Manage Recordings to learn what else you can do with your recording, such as how to share or download it.
I'm using local recording.
By default, local recordings are stored in your computer's
Documents folder as .WEBM files. The name of the file includes the date, time, and
training name. You can change the folder recordings save to as desired.
- Open the File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) on your computer.
- Find and select the folder you saved your recordings to.
- Find the desired recording in the folder.
- Optional: To convert the recording to a different file format, please use a third-party service such as Handbrake.
What to do next: If you would like to edit the recording, you will need to
convert it as mentioned above (specifically to an .MP4 file) and then use another third-party editing software such as TechSmith Camtasia®. Again, the file is downloaded to the computer of the person who started the recording.
