Why can't I access the microphone, share my camera, or share my screen?
If you can't access your microphone, share your camera, or share your screen, you may not have granted GoTo Meeting permissions to do so.
Choose the device you're on.
I'm on a Windows computer.
- Select the to open your Privacy preferences.
- Select Camera in the left toolbar (under "App permissions").
- Use the Allow apps to access your camera toggle switch to enable access to your camera.
- Scroll down and use the Allow desktop apps to access your camera toggle switch to enable GoTo or GoTo Meeting access to your camera.
- Select Microphone in the left toolbar (under "App permissions").
- Use the toggle switch to enable access to your microphone.
- Scroll down and use the Allow desktop apps to access your camera toggle switch to enable GoTo or GoTo Meeting access to your microphone.
Results: The next time you join or host a session, you will be able to connect to your computer audio, share your camera, and screen share.
I'm on a Mac computer.
Attention: There is a known issue for Google Chrome users! If you cannot share your screen, view the troubleshooting note.
