What does "Automatically adjust microphone volume" setting do?

This setting adjusts your microphone volume so you can be heard at the right volume to other attendees. It considers your audio device’s volume level and your volume of speech and adjusts your microphone setup accordingly.

Why should I keep it switched on?

Keeping this setting enabled ensures optimal voice balance and quality when you speak, regardless of the headset you use.

When should I turn it off?

You can disable the setting if one or more of the following scenarios applies:
  • You'd like to have full control of your speech level within the conference
  • Your in-built device/ headset volume level regulation conflicts with the regulation offered by this setting
  • Your device behaves in an unexpected manner when this setting is enabled (for example, auto-mutes itself unexpectedly)
