How do I start a meeting from GoTo Room?

GoTo Room is an all-in-one hardware system that lets you set up a small to mid-sized conference room to be ready to join and host meetings in an instant. See how to start various meeting types below.

Start an instant "Meet Now" session

A "Meet Now" session uses the conference room's GoTo Meeting account. You do not need to log in to your own to start and instant meeting.

  1. Enter the conference room. Your GoTo Room system is always running and ready.
  2. On the Touch Panel, tap Calendar > + Create Instant Meeting.
  3. Invite others to join the meeting by tapping People and entering their email addresses. Alternatively, you can share the 9-digit meeting ID.

Start your own pre-scheduled meeting

If you have your own GoTo Meeting account, you can use the GoTo Room system to host the meetings that you have scheduled ahead of time.
  1. Schedule a meeting using your own GoTo Meeting account. You can also use your personal meeting page.
  2. Enter the conference room.
  3. On the Touch Panel, tap Join or Start. Enter your meeting's 9-digit meeting ID or your personal meeting page name, then tap Go.
  4. You'll be launched into the waiting room of your meeting as an attendee. Tap start the meeting to log in and be launched into session.
  5. Invite others to join the meeting by tapping People and entering their email addresses. Alternatively, you can share the 9-digit meeting ID.

Start a meeting scheduled from your integrated calendar

After you integrate your Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, or Google Calendar service to GoTo Room, you can schedule meetings from your calendar and book the conference room as the meeting location.
  1. Enter the conference room.
  2. On the Touch Panel, tap Calendar. Locate your scheduled meeting and tap Go to be launched into session.
  3. Share your screen or content and invite others to join the meeting.
