Schedule and Start Meetings via Android
Organizers can use the Android app to start and schedule meetings.
Sign in as an organizer
- Tap Sign in in the upper toolbar and Sign in again.
- Enter your organizer credentials (i.e., email address and password associated with your account).
- You will automatically see a list of your upcoming meetings displayed!
Schedule a meeting
- On the Meetings or Calendar screen, tap the floating Plus icon (you must be logged in to see this option).
- Fill out the session details.
- Tap the Check icon when finished. You can choose to save the meeting to your Calendar app as well.
- The new meeting is now available in your upcoming meetings.
Start a scheduled meeting
Launch your personal meeting room (GoToMeet.Me)
If you have a personal meeting room (GoToMeet.Me) set up, you can instantly launch your meeting at any time from the Meetings screen. You can also share your personal meeting page with others by tapping the More icon and Share. This will open a list of apps, which will vary depending on which apps are installed on the device.
If you do not have a personal meeting room set up, then you can start an instant meeting ("Meet now") instead. On the Meetings screen, scroll down until you see Meet now. Tap Start (you must be logged in to see this option). A new meeting with a random ID will launch immediately. You can then invite others to join.
Cancel a scheduled meeting
- On the Meetings or Calendar screen, locate the desired meeting.
- Tap the More icon and Delete.
Invite others before a session
- On the Meetings or Calendar screen, locate the desired meeting.
- Tap the More icon and Share.
- Select the app you'd like to use to send your invitation (e.g., Gmail, Message).
- The session details will pre-populate in the app that you selected (e.g., if you selected Gmail, then a new email will open).
