PBX Administration (classic)
Attention: There is a new version of this visual dial plan editor in GoTo Admin with many new and improved features! Before you begin:
- You must have an admin or super admin role to perform this task.
- Extensions, sound clips, hold music, voicemail greetings, etc. must be created outside of the editor before they can be added to the dial plan.
- Export a dial plan to allow you to download an .xml of your dial plan and then upload it into another phone system. This saves you from having to recreate a dial plan multiple times for each system and can be used to backup a dial plan before you make changes to it. Proprietary options, like sound clips, are removed so only the nodes and connections remain once imported.
