How do I forward texts to my email?
DEADLINE: As of February 3, 2025, United States carriers have blocked 100% of unregistered outbound SMS due to a government-mandated regulation to prevent spam. Register now to avoid further service disruption. GoTo Connect cannot expedite the carrier’s review timeline.
Forward text messages to your email. Texting is only available in the US and Canada.
Desktop & web app
Mobile app
- From the mobile app, select your profile picture in the top left.
- Select Notifications.
- From Messages, enable the toggle for New messages.
- Optional: Choose the voicemail sound notification from Sound.
- Enable the toggle for Also notify me by email to receive text notifications.
- Select Email options.
Texts can only be forwarded to your account email address. Email communications will be sent from @goto.com, @jive.com or @jivecommunications.com. Please ensure these domains are allowed so that emails are not automatically filtered as spam.
- Enable the toggle for the phone numbers you’d like to receive email notifications.
- Optional: Enable the toggle for Inbound texts and Outbound texts notifications.
- Select Email options.
