How do I choose a corporate directory (LDAP) for a phone?
Assign a default LDAP directory to all of your phones.
Before you begin:
You must be assigned an Admin or Super admin role to perform this task.
GoTo Admin
If you're an admin who signs in at https://admin.goto.com, these steps are for you.
Change the Default Corporate Directory System-Wide
- Sign in to GoTo Admin.
- Select Settings in the left navigation menu.
- From , choose the desired Corporate Directory from the drop-down list.
- Select Save.
Change the Default Corporate Directory on a Single Device
- Sign in to GoTo Admin.
- Select Devices in the left navigation menu and then choose the phone that requires a different directory than the default directory.
- From , disable Use system default and choose a directory from the drop-down list.
- Select Save.
- Resync the device to apply the changes.
PBX Administration (classic)
If you're an admin who signs in at https://my.jive.com/pbx, these steps are for you.
Change the Default Corporate Directory System-Wide
- Sign in to PBX Administration (classic) at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
- Select System Settings in the left navigation menu.
- From , choose the desired Corporate Directory from the drop-down list.
- Select Save.
Change the Default Corporate Directory on a Single Device
- Sign in to PBX Administration (classic) at https://my.jive.com/pbx.
- Select Devices in the left navigation menu and then choose the phone that requires a different directory than the default directory.
- From , set the Corporate Directory field to Use and then choose the desired Corporate Directory.
- Select Save.
- Power cycle the device(s) to apply the changes.
