Share my camera
Up to 50 (desktop app or web), 20 (iOS app), or 16 (Android app) cameras can be shared at once.
Attention: The navigation has been improved, but the settings shown in this video are the same. Please also note that while this video covers sharing your camera, it also provides much more information regarding all camera options available to you.
Desktop app or web
Before you begin: Make sure you have allowed
GoTo Meeting access permission as needed.
Before you join the meeting, you are taken to a Camera preview screen where you can select Camera ahead of time and adjust your camera preferences if desired.
If you aren't seeing the webcams option, these are the most likely causes:
- Your webcam is not plugged in. Make sure it's plugged in properly. You can also try unplugging it and then plugging it back in to make sure GoTo Meeting detected it. If it is still not working, then there might be an issue with your webcam itself.
- The wrong device is selected. Check the Webcam/Camera tab in your toolbar or Control Panel and use the drop-down menu to select your webcam. It's possible that the wrong device was selected by default.
- You may be filtering camera feeds. If you previously selected the Hide Everyone filter from the Camera drop-down menu, click Everyone or Active Cameras to bring back all participants' feeds.
- You might be in flexible layout mode. If you are in flexible layout mode, you might not have selected the camera feed pop out or it might be hidden. Either merge the windows or open the camera pane.
- You might be using an unsupported camera. The maximum resolution is 1920p x 960p. If your webcam resolution is too high, you will see a "failed to connect" error message and will need to use a different webcam. As a note, up to 30 frames/second are supported, however, the frame rate depends on your webcam, lighting, network, and computer.
