What's the difference between Standard, Webcast, and Recorded webinars?
GoTo Webinar offers multiple types of events to suit your needs, each of which offers different join experiences for attendees. Each time you schedule an event, you'll be able to choose which mode you want to use.
The features that are available on your account may vary depending on your subscription plan.
Event types
- These events can be set for a specific time and date, or they can be launched "on the fly" using the Webinar Now feature.
- If hosted on the v10 platform, attendees can join from the classic desktop app or the GoTo mobile app (downloads required).
- If hosted on the GoTo platform, attendees can join instantly from the browser or download and use either the GoTo desktop app or the GoTo mobile app.
- These events must be scheduled ahead of time for a specific time and date.
