Mute and unmute myself
Use the mic icon to easily mute and unmute yourself as needed.

There are a few things to keep in mind when muting. If the organizer has muted you, then you will not be able to unmute yourself until they unmute you first. If you dialed in to the audio conference using your phone, enter your audio PIN in order to use the control panel for muting. Alternatively, if you dialed into the session, use the keypad command
*6 to mute yourself from your phone.
- Select the Mic icon in the toolbar.
Troubleshooting: If the Mic icon is grayed out, then your audio is not connected. Select Connect to audio for a GoTo session for help.
and make sure you're connected via Computer or Phone call. See - Select it again to mute or unmute yourself.
- Optional: From the arrow next to the Mic icon, enable Hold Space to Talk. Then, with the Mic icon still muted, simply hold the space bar down at any time to temporarily unmute and share something. Release the space bar to return to a muted state.
Results: If you are unmuted, the icon glows white. If you are muted, the icon is black with a slash across it.
