Why am I hitting Error 12029?

    If you're seeing an "Error 12029" message, there are a couple ways to troubleshoot.

    Rule out the GoTo Training app

    1. Uninstall GoTo Training and GoTo Opener.
    2. Restart your computer.
    3. Join or start the session with GoTo Training.
    4. If you still see the error message, reset your browser (instructions below).

    Restart your browser

    1. Click your Windows start menu and open the Control Panel.
    2. Click Internet Options.
    3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
    4. Open a new browser and join or start the GoTo Training session.
    5. If you still see the error message, disable anti-virus if possible (instructions below).

    Disable anti-virus

    If you do not have permissions to make the following changes, contact your IT admin.
    1. Check if your connection works with anti-virus disabled.
    2. If disabling your anti-virus does not help, review Optimal Firewall Configuration to check that the DNS addresses, IP ranges, and ports have been allowlisted.
