Application update policy for iPhone and iPad
The Application update policy is a device-specific configuration profile. You can use the profile to enable or disable the automatic updating of applications that have been deployed to iPhone or iPad devices using GoTo Resolve MDM. The application update policy does not affect apps installed by the device user.
Requirements
- The update policy supports devices running iOS/iPadOS 11.3 or later.
- You must have an Administrator or Editor role in GoTo Resolve MDM.
- The update policy applies only to the apps deployed from GoTo Resolve MDM via Apple App Store or Apple Business/School Manager. In-house apps, installed using .ipa files, can be updated manually or using a business policy.
