How do I provision a Poly Rove B1/B2?

Learn how to provision and register your handset(s) to a base station.

Note: This method is ideal for a single or dual cell DECT systems.

Provision

On your Poly Rove handset, select OK.
Select Settings > Status > Network > TCP/IP Parameters.
Enter the IP address or IPv4 address in your web browser on your computer.

Troubleshooting: If the page is not loading, enter https:// before the IP address.
Log in to the web interface by selecting admin and enter the password.

Note: The default password should be admin.
Expand System Management.
Select Auto Provisioning.
Scroll down to ITSP Provisioning.
On UCSserver, deselect Default for that column.
Enter http://[domain].onjive.com/p/ in the UCSserver row.

Important: Replace [domain] with the domain of the PBX portal.
Select Submit.
Select Reboot.

Results: The base will update a provisioning timestamp but will not show as online (green) unless at least one handset is registered. Please refer to the steps below for instructions on how to register your handset(s) to your base station.

Handset registration

Method 1: Easy Registration

Enter the IP address of the Poly Rove B1/B2 or B4 DECT base station in a web browser on your computer.
In the web page, select Handset Summary from the DECT Wireless section.
Access the main menu on the Poly Rove 30 or Poly Rove 40 handset and select the Settings option.
Select Connectivity.
Select Easy Registration.
Under the Specific Handsets section, checkmark your desired index.
Select Register.
Result: When a Poly Rove handset is successfully registered/paired to the base station, the display should show Registration success!

Method 2: Manual Registration

Enter the IP address of the Poly Rove B1/B2 or B4 DECT base station in a web browser on your computer.
In the web page, select Handset Summary from the DECT Wireless section.
Enter the IPEI Number of the handset you would like to register to the base station. This IPEI Number can be found on the product box of your handset or in the menu of the handset.

Note: Enter the IPEI number without the colons.
Select Register Next.
Under the Specific Handsets section, checkmark your desired index.
Select Register.
Access the main menu on the Poly Rove 30 or Poly Rove 40 handset and select the Settings option.
Select Connectivity.
Select Register.
Select an empty slot and enter 0000 as the access code.

Note: This is the default code and can be changed by an admin.
