Available audio modes
GoTo Webinar provides many different methods for organizers and their attendees to connect to a session's audio conference. It's up to the organizer to decide which options they want to provide for each individual session.
Built-in audio services
GoTo Webinar offers various built-in methods for participants to connect to the session audio.
Mic & Speakers (VoIP) | Telephone (PSTN) | No audio | |
---|---|---|---|
Participants can use the mic and speakers on their computer to connect to the audio through the desktop, web or mobile app. This allows participants to join the audio without needing to use the telephone. See Connect to webinar audio to learn more. |
Participants can use a telephone to connect to the audio separately from the desktop, web or mobile apps. This allows participants to join the session even if they aren't able to see the screen-sharing session. See Connect to webinar audio to learn more. |
Participants can choose to join the session with no audio. This means participants won't be able to hear the meeting or talk to other participants from that device. See Connect to webinar audio to learn more. |
