How do I create and manage materials? (Classic)
Materials are media files and web links that attendees can download onto their devices. Organizers can use materials to have attendees review content or complete tasks before, during or after a session. You can upload .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .txt, .zip, .7z, .rar, .csv, .mp3, .mp4, .avi, .mov, and .wmv files.
Add materials to your Library
- Sign in to your account at https://global.gototraining.com.
- Select Library in the left menu.
- On the Materials tab, select + Add Material.
- Choose how you want to upload your material.
- From computer – Use this option to upload a new file from your computer. Select the Select a file less than 100MB link, choose your file, add a description, then select Save.
- Add link – Use this option to add a hyperlink to a file that is hosted elsewhere (such as a video that is uploaded to YouTube). Add the URL, a title and description, then select Add Link.
- From computer – Use this option to upload a new file from your computer. Select the Select a file less than 100MB link, choose your file, add a description, then select Save.
- The material will automatically be saved to your Library, where you can access it at any time and add it to any future sessions.
Add materials directly to a training
You can add as many materials as desired to your session.
Edit or remove materials from a training
On the Manage Training page, select Edit in the Tests section.
