System Requirements for Agents
These minimum hardware, browser, and network configuration requirements apply to computers that GoTo Resolve agents use to support their end users.

Important: We advise against using GoTo Resolve with Firefox, as some features are unavailable on that browser. For optimal performance, consider using Chrome or Edge instead.

Note: The Windows updates, third-party application updates, and Endpoint protection features only support devices running Windows operating systems. Devices running Windows ARM or macOS are not supported.Note: This feature is available on Windows devices only. Devices running macOS or Windows ARM are not supported.

These hardware, operating system, and browser requirements apply to your end users' computers. Recommendations for network configurations are made to ensure a smooth support experience.

Note: On Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, you must enable TLS 1.2. For information, see the Microsoft support center.Tip: To start unattended access, you must first open TCP port 8883 on the remote device. This restriction applies to the following operating systems:
- Windows 8 and earlier
- Windows Server 2012 and earlier
- Mac OS High Sierra (version 10.13) and above
Note: The Rosetta software is required when joining a support session from a Mac with an M1 chipset.
- Linux
Restriction: Remote Control is currently not available on Linux devices.
- Chrome OS
Restriction: Remote Control is currently not available on Chrome OS devices. Remote View is only available on devices running the latest Chrome OS version.
