How do I install and use GoTo Meeting for Microsoft Teams?
Easily start or join meetings via GoTo Meeting with the GoTo Meeting for Microsoft Teams integration! Once you have it added to Microsoft Teams, you can then schedule meetings from the dashboard or go from chatting to face-to-face meetings in seconds using commands or the messaging extension.
Add GoTo Meeting for Microsoft Teams
- In Microsoft Teams, select .
- Search for and select GoTo Meeting and then select Add.
- GoTo Meeting will be pinned to the left toolbar. Open it to sign in.
Sign in, schedule, join, and start meetings
Use GoTo Meeting commands in chats
Before you begin: Make sure you are
signed in to use commands. If you haven't added the
GoTo Meeting in Teams, type "@" in the field and then select
.
You can use start or join commands in both personal and group chats.
Type and select "@gotomeeting" followed by the desired command:
- start - Start your personal meeting room link.
- join [meeting ID/name] - Join a meeting using its ID or room name.
- help - View a list of the commands you can use.
- sign in - Log in on every channel you've added the GoTo Meeting bot.
- sign out - Log out on every channel you've added the GoTo Meeting bot.
Use the GoTo Meeting messaging extension
- Under the chat field, select the GoTo Meeting icon (if pinned) or the More icon and then GoTo Meeting.
- To start a meeting, select a scheduled meeting and then select Start. You can choose to post the meeting details in to the chat.
- To join a meeting, select Join. Enter the meeting ID or room name and then select Join again.
Uninstall GoTo Meeting for Microsoft Teams
- In Microsoft Teams, locate GoTo Meeting (either pinned to the left toolbar or under "More apps").
- Right-click GoTo Meeting and then select Uninstall twice to confirm.
