Schedule a meeting

Use the GoTo Meeting Chrome Extension to schedule and start meetings directly from your Google Calendar. Scheduling within the calendar will allow you to send meeting invitations to your contacts.

  1. From Google Calendar, select the desired time slot and then select Create.
Note: To add a recurring meeting, select the Repeat option below the meeting date and time. Friom the Repeat window, you will be able to set the recurring pattern and modify the date and times as necessary.

Result: An event will be added to your calendar. The GoTo Meeting extension will be displayed under Event details.

  2. If you are not logged in, select Sign in to log into your GoTo Meeting account and then select Add to link your GoTo Meeting account to this event. Pre-populated session information for the meeting (including Join links and dial-in numbers) will display in the Description field. Any preferred countries you have set will be used as well.
Note: If this is your first time logging in through Google Calendar, you will need to approve access to your GoTo Meeting profile by selecting Allow.
  3. Select Edit Event to open the meeting details as desired.
  4. From the Guest field, add in attendees email addresses and then select Email when finished.

Edit a meeting

  1. From your calendar, select the meeting you want to edit and then select Edit event.
  2. To change the meeting schedule, use the Google Calendar tools. Note that you cannot change the occurrence or times in the GoTo Meeting dialog. Select Done when finished.
  3. To update the audio settings, select the Edit icon. Select Save to update the meeting and invite with your changes.
Note: Any manual updates to the invitation prior to this will be overwritten.
  4. To modify the default settings for all future meetings, select the Settings icon, make the needed changes, and then select Save when finished.

Remove a meeting

When you remove a meeting from a Google Calendar event, you can either delete the entire event or remove just the GoTo Meeting session which will keep the appointment on your calendar (and those of your attendees) but remove the meeting from the GoTo Meeting system.

  1. To delete the entire event, select the event in calendar view, and then select Delete.

Result: This deletes the event and scheduled GoTo Meeting session.

  2. To remove the meeting session, but keep the calendar event, double click the desired event and then select the Trash icon. Select Save to update the event.
