Customize mobile app settings
To maximize functionality, we recommends enabling all of the following settings.
iOS
Go to your device settings and then scroll to select
GoTo.
- Photos: Allows the app access to your photo library.
- Microphone: Allows the app to use the device’s microphone.
- Camera: Allows the app to use the device’s camera.
- Siri & Search: Allows Siri to learn how you use the app and allows your device to suggest the app and its shortcuts.
- Notifications: Defines how notifications are displayed on your device for incoming calls, messages, etc.
- Background App Refresh: Allows the app to receive phone calls, messages, etc. when it is open but not actively running on the screen.
- Cellular Data: Allows the app to use cellular data when not connected to Wi-Fi.
Android
Note: The following steps may vary depending on the manufacturer or operating system version.
- Go to your device settings, select Apps and then scroll to select GoTo.
- From App Settings, customize the following settings:
- Notifications: Defines how notifications are displayed on your device for incoming calls, messages, etc.
- Permissions:
- Camera: Allows the app to use the device’s camera.
- Contacts: Allows the app to access contacts stored on your device; merging your personal contacts with the system directory.
- Microphone: Allows the app to use the device’s microphone.
- Phone: Allows the app to make and receive calls.
- Storage: Allows the app to send and receive MMS.
- Battery: Allow battery usage in background without restrictions.
- Set as default: Set the app as your default app for making calls.
