In-session features for GoToAssist Seeit customers
Learn how to share the audio and camera of your mobile device on GoToAssist Seeit.
Whether you are in the office or on the go, you can easily share the audio and camera of your mobile device during a GoToAssist Seeit session to allow the agent to see the issue you are experiencing - wherever you are! In turn, the agent can see your live-streaming camera feed, and provide real-time assistance to get your problem solved quickly and efficiently.
Share your audio
- When you join the agent's session, you will be automatically muted.
- Tap the Microphone icon in the toolbar to unmute or mute your audio.
Share your camera
- Tap the Camera icon to share or stop sharing your live-streaming camera feed with the agent.
- To use the device's light, tap the Flashlight icon to emit a constant stream of light (rather than a single flash).
View shared photos
- When the agent takes a snapshot of your camera feed, you will briefly see the still image on your device.
- When the agent shares the photo, the snapshot will appear with the message, "This photo is being shared with you."
- If the agent uses drawing tools, you will see the annotations appear over the still image.
- To save the image, you can take a standard screen shot on your Android or iOS device.
- The shared photo will remain open in the GoToAssist Seeit session in place of your camera feed. When the agent stops sharing the photo, camera sharing from your mobile device will resume, and you will see the message, "Agent can see your camera."
View paused camera sharing
- When the agent pauses your live-streaming camera feed, you will see the still image on your device with the message, "The agent wants to talk about this photo."
- If the agent uses drawing tools, you will see the annotations appear over the still image.
- To save the image, you can take a standard screen shot on your Android or iOS device.
- The still image will remain open in the GoToAssist Seeit session in place of your camera feed. When the agent resumes the camera sharing, you will see the message, "Agent can see your camera."
