How do I integrate with Clio?

Integrate your phone system with Clio. Each time you make or receive calls, GoTo Connect notifies you of any customers that match the caller ID with a link to open their account in Clio. You will have options to see recent communications, add a contact, create a billable activity, associate communications and activities with a matter, or add notes.

  1. Download and install GoTo Connect Integration for Clio for your operating system:
  2. Open and log in to GoTo Connect Integration for Clio with your GoTo Connect credentials.
  3. Click Link Account to launch the Integrations Dashboard.
  4. In the new window, choose your region and then click Link Accounts.
  5. Enter your email account used to sign in to Clio and then click Next: Password.
  6. Enter your Clio password and then click Sign in.
    Note: If you change your Clio password, unlink your account and reconnect.
  7. Click Allow Access.
  8. Select Integrations Settings Icon in the left sidebar of the GoTo Connect Integration for Clio and then choose your Line.

Note: For screen pop to work with Clio, the phone number must be formatted specifically without any symbols (i.e., 1234567890).
When you initiate a call from the app, it first sends the call to your desk phone or softphone (the app must be open), waits for you to pick it up, and then finally completes the call to the outbound number.
