Why can't I access the microphone, share my camera, or share my screen?
If you can't access your microphone, share your camera, or share your screen, it's likely that you have not have granted GoTo Webinar permissions to do so. Learn how to update those on your respective device.
It's also possible that the organizer has not enabled those features for you to use, in which case, you simply won't be able to use the mic or camera for that session. If those features are enabled however, continue with the steps below to make sure access has been granted. In the event that you have multiple mics or camera's connected to your computer and need help making sure the correct one is being used, see

For Windows users
These steps are for the latest windows 11 version. If you need help locating your settings on an older version, please see Microsoft's help content.
- From the windows menu, select and then scroll down to the App permissions category.
- Select Camera and then enable Camera access and Let apps access your camera.
- Expand Let apps access your camera and enable GoTo and/or GoTo Webinar as well (whichever one is available).
- From the main App permissions category, select Microphone and then enable Microphone access and Let apps access your microphone.
- Expand Let apps access your microphone and enable GoTo and/or GoTo Webinar as well (whichever one is available).
Results: The next time you
join or host a session, you will be able to connect to your computer audio, share your camera, and screen share.

For Mac users
Attention: There is a known issue for Google Chrome users! If you cannot share your screen, view the troubleshooting note.
Results: The next time you
join or host a meeting, you can connect to your computer audio, share your camera, and share your screen. You may need to restart your browser or the GoToMeeting desktop app for the permission to take effect.
