Meetings, Webinars, and Trainings - November 14, 2024
- Sign in with passkeys. There is a new sign in option for the My Account page. Set up passkeys now to take advantage of this fast and secure sign in method.
Webinars - September 24, 2024
- Polls can be launched in the GoTo mobile app. Organizers can now launch polls using the GoTo mobile app.
Webinars - September 10, 2024
- Webcast events can be hosted on GoTo. Organizers can now host Webcast events on the GoTo app. It's available for all staff to use with the attendee experience in GoTo to follow soon.
Mobile app - July 12, 2024
- Start standard sessions in the GoTo mobile app. Organizers can now start scheduled standard webinar events from the GoTo mobile app as well as see various details about the event, including staff details, registrants, and any engagement tools already created. See Feature comparison by join method for help with the features available for use in the mobile app, depending on the selected hosting platform (classic or GoTo).
Webinars - July 8, 2024
- Run Webcasts in GoTo app. Organizers can now host Webcast events in the GoTo app when they enable the new experience from the dashboard. Schedule them the same way as before and see Use the control panel to run your session for help with the new in-session experience.
Meetings, Webinars, and Trainings - July 2, 2024
- Push to Talk. Participants can now enable Hold Space to Talk for any given session which allows them to temporarily unmute just by holding down the space bar rather than selecting the mute icon, speaking, and then selecting the icon again.

- Live captions are available as an open beta.. Attendees can now enable/disable closed captions as desired during a session.
Meetings and Webinars - June 10, 2024
- AI Summaries. Organizers can generate AI summaries of recorded and transcribed sessions, including key topics and decisions, that can then be shared out to other participants, saving both time and effort.
Webinars - June 10, 2024
- Organizer features on mobile app. Organizers can now see upcoming and past sessions and various session details in the new Webinars tab of the GoTo mobile app. For sessions being hosted on the GoTo platform, organizers can start the session and the broadcast from the mobile app. See Start a webinar for more help.
Webinars - June 5, 2024
- Additional filter for Questions pane. Staff members now have access to a Clear all filters option when filtering questions coming in from attendees.
Webinars - May 23, 2024
- Updated entry/exit chimes. Organizers will now see Notify me when attendee joins/leaves instead of Play entry exit chimes. When enabled, a notification will also be displayed along with the chime.

- Closed captions are available as an open beta.. Attendees can now enable/disable closed captions as desired during a session.
Webinars – May 2, 2024
- Bulk registration updates. Organizers will now see detailed error messages (if applicable) when bulk registration uploads fail.
Webinars – April 23, 2024
- Individual attendee attentiveness is back. Organizers will now see individual attendee attentiveness in the GoTo app. This is a feature from the classic experience that was removed in efforts to protect user's privacy, but was determined by our customers to be a valuable tool to have.
Meetings, Webinars, & Trainings - March 26, 2024
- When enabled and available, chat messages can be pinned and unpinned in the thread. Organizers can enable this setting to allow attendees (Meetings and Trainings) or panelists (Webinars) to pin important messages in the chat thread for others, including late joiners, to see.

- Webinar capabilities in the GoTo app are officially available for any customer to try out. Opt in to the new experience through your join settings!

- Fixed an issue where webinars with breakout rooms did not reflect the total session duration and join/leave time in reports
Webinars and Trainings – December 19, 2023
- The pre-broadcast Waiting Room screen has been updated. When organizers have started the webinar but haven't started the broadcast yet, attendees continue to see the webinar title, featured image, and presenter information in the Waiting Room.
- Cosmetic improvements to the Questions quick action menu and Chat pane
- Fixed an issue where the recording status was incorrect during breakout rooms

- Presenters are shown a Hidden while screen sharing message if they receive or send private chats while screen sharing
- Users see an Organizer has turned off chat message in the Chat pane if the feature has been disabled
- When organizers hover over a name in the People pane, their email address is displayed in the tooltip
- Organizers and panelists can Hide everyone to improve session performance
- Stop sharing button has been updated to Back to polls list to prevent confusion
- Fixed an issue where panelists were able to view the attendee list during breakout sessions although the setting was disabled by the organizer

Meetings, Trainings, and Webinars – September 13, 2023
- Organizers and panelists can ask staff members questions. Use the Questions pane to send questions to the staff. This is helpful if you want to know what questions look like as an attendee
- Organizers can sort and filter questions by tags, assignment, and priority
- When organizers disable the Allow remote control requests setting, attendees are notified
- Fixed an issue where sharing a window in full screen mode also opened the Chat window in full screen for Mac users on a single monitor in flexible layout mode
Webinars – September 7, 2023
- Automatically email co-organizers the session recording after the webinar. Only co-organizers in the same GoTo Webinar account will receive the recording

- Allow attendees to request remote control. Organizers can allow attendees to invoke remote control access directly in the app

- Improvements have been made to flexible layout:
- Ability to display or hide button labels
- Ability to enable or disable the GoTo app as the "focused app"
- Fixed an issue where notifications did not display in flexible layout mode
- Fixed an intermittent issue where the pop-out window crashed
GoTo Mobile App (v2023.05.2) – July 5, 2023
- The camera layout has been updated. This allows users to swipe through shared cameras and take action directly from the user's tile. Staff members are always placed on the main screen view.
- Up to 16 cameras can be viewed at once during the session on the Android app
GoTo Mobile App (v2023.05.2) – July 3, 2023
- Out of Session features available. You can now invite others to a session beforehand, or edit and delete sessions from the mobile app.
GoTo App - June 19, 2023
- Fixed and issue where users experienced a lag when using the remote control feature
