Installation Troubleshooting for Google Chrome (Windows)

Are you having trouble installing the desktop app while using Google Chrome? There are a couple of things that you can try.

Restart the download.

On the Launcher page, click download & run GoToWebinar in the blue box on the launcher page. You should then see the "GoToWebinar Opener.exe" file begin downloading and display at the bottom of your screen.

Run the GoToWebinar Opener file.

The "GoToWebinar Opener.exe" file should have appeared in the lower-left corner of your browser. Click to open it, then click Run to launch GoToWebinar.

If you do not see the "GoToWebinar Opener.exe" file in your browser, you can retrieve it as follows:

  1. Press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
  2. In the Downloads folder, click GoToWebinar Opener.exe.
  3. Click Run to launch GoToWebinar.

Approve the External Protocol Request.

If you see the Launcher screen and it is covered by an "External Protocol Request" pop-up window, you'll need to click Launch Application to continue.
