How do I start the webinar broadcast?

When organizers first start a webinar, it will launch in pre-broadcast mode. This allows you and other staff members to take time to speak amongst yourselves until you're ready to start the broadcast for all attendees.

During this time, attendees will be placed in a pre-conference holding room where they can't see your webcam or hear your audio but can see any shared screens until you start the broadcast. Once the broadcast has been started, it is not possible to pause or stop the broadcast. However, you can pause screen sharing, session recording, and webcams if you need a brief break from the webinar broadcast.
Important: Attendees are able to see your screen in pre-broadcast mode. If you want to practice with staff members and privately share your screen before the webinar, see How do I practice a webinar?. You can easily start the live broadcasting from there.
