Practice a webinar
Organizers can start a webinar in practice mode before actually starting the live session. This allows you to run through the webinar event with other panelists and organizers to perfect it without attendees. If you practice an event up until its scheduled start time, you can easily transition from practice mode into live broadcast mode.
Co-organizers and panelists can join the practice session as they would the regularly scheduled webinar by selecting the join link in the confirmation email.
Note: If you record the webinar while in practice mode, it will process as it normally does and appear in your Video Library after you end the session.
- Select the More icon, and then select Practice.
Note: If you are on the Event Details page for the desired session, you can select the More icon, and then Practice from there instead.
Result: You'll automatically be launched into session in practice mode as indicated at the top of the Control Panel.
What to do next: To start the live webinar while in practice mode, select
Start or
Start Webinar at the top of the Control Panel. When prompted, select
Start to begin broadcasting to attendees.
