How do I download and install GoTo Network Test?

Download and install the standalone version of GoTo Network Test (GTNT) to comprehensively view your network in real-time.

Before you begin: If you are using the desktop version of the GoTo app, GoTo Network Test is already built-in and you do not need to download and install. For more information, view Test Your Network in the Desktop GoTo app.

Download GoTo Network Test for your operating system:

Important: For the most accurate results, install GoTo Network Test on a computer that is directly connected to the network you’d like to test.

GoTo Network Test needs to establish frequent Internet connections in order to test your connectivity and receive updates. Result: A file download pop-up will appear in your browser.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Note: Make sure to carefully read and accept the License Agreement.
Open GoTo Network Test from your system applications.
Result: The GoTo icon will appear in your menu bar (Mac) or taskbar (Windows).

Open the GoTo Network Test drop-down menu.

Operating System	How-to
Mac	Select the GoTo icon in the menu bar and choose Show GoToNetwork Test.
Windows	Right-click the GoTo icon in the notification area of the Windows taskbar and choose Show GoTo Network Test. Note: You may have to select Show hidden icons if your taskbar icon is hidden. Make sure the scale of your monitor is set to 100% or some data could be cut off.

Result: GoTo Network Test will open.

Under the Test tab, verify the Next Test section states Connected and ready. This indicates that test can report network data.
