How does a session recording work?

There are couple steps organizers need to take to successfully record and share session recordings with others.

The type of recording you're using depends on what your account admin set in the Admin settings.
Note: A quick way to check what recording method you're using is to view your Settings page. If you see a "Cloud Recording" section (in the Meeting tab), that means you're using cloud recording. If you don't see any recording section, you're using local recording.

    1. Record the session. You can start and stop recording the meeting.
Note: Recordings cannot exceed 20GB. If you are planning on recording a long session, we recommend stopping the recording and the meeting, and restarting it. This will split the meeting into 2 recordings.
    2. Share the recording. After the session, the recording will automatically process and be available in your web account. Find the recording and share by sending out the recording link!

    2. Convert the recording. After the session, a .G2M file will open in the Recording Manager. You must manually convert the temporary recording file into a downloadable format (.WMV or .MP4 file).
    3. Share the recording. You can attach and send the .WMV or .MP4 recording file to others.
