Record a meeting
join.me PRO and BUSINESS users can record their meetings and save them as MP4 files to join.me cloud storage.
Recordings include shared content and any conference audio.
Note: Participant bubbles, sounds played on your own device, and join.me video are not recorded.
Record a meeting
- Sign in to your join.me PRO or BUSINESS account and start a meeting.
- To start recording, select
. - To stop recording, select .
Results: You'll see a We are processing your recording notification.
What to do next: After the recording is stopped, you can click the
Recordings link in the notification or sign in to your join.me account and go to
Recordings.
How long does the recording processing take?
Most join.me recordings process in minutes. However, there are a few reasons why it may take longer to process and appear.
- Your meeting had bad or choppy internet connection. In this case, it may take up to 20 minutes to process the recording.
- An audio participant didn't hang up. In this case, the recording starts to process after a 24-hour delay.
Security notes
Recordings can only be enabled by the meeting organizer, and meeting participants are always notified when a meeting is being recorded (including audio-only participants).
