Easy Call-In on mobile

You no longer have to dial a number to call into a conference. Use your mobile to dial in by simply tapping a notification or scanning a QR code.

Before you begin:
  • Easy Call-In is only available in Personal URL meetings
  • You must have a valid SIM card

You can use Easy Call-In in the following ways:

  • Tap a push notification sent to your join.me mobile app. See Easy Call-In using the join.me mobile app
  • Scan a QR code in the desktop or browser app. See Easy Call-In using a QR code reader

Easy Call-In using the join.me mobile app

Before you begin:
  • System requirements:

    Depending on your mobile, you need either of the following:

    • join.me iOS application 5.6.0 or higher
    • join.me Android application 4.8.0.1242 or higher
  • You must use the join.me mobile application with the same account you used to join or host the meeting.
  • join.me must have the rights to send notifications and make calls.
  1. Start a meeting in your desktop or browser app.

    Result:

    You automatically receive a push notification on your mobile device.

    Tip: Haven't received the notification? Make sure join.me has the rights to send notifications and make calls.
    iOS
    Check your settings at Settings > Notifications > join.me.
    Android
    Check your settings at Settings > Apps > join.me.

  2. Tap the notification to call into the meeting audio.
    Tip:
    • Missed the notification? In the desktop app click Send me details to receive a new notification.
    • The Send me details button is disabled? Make sure you have logged in to the join.me app with the same account you used to join or host the meeting.

    Result: A number selector dialog is displayed.

  3. In the dialog, select the number to call.
    Tip: By default, join.me offers contact numbers based on your location and call history. Tap More numbers to see all your contacts.
    Important: International call rates may apply if you select an area code different from your own.

Easy Call-In using a QR code reader

Before you begin:
  • Your mobile device must be able to scan QR codes.
    Tip: Download a third-party QR code reader if your mobile cannot scan QR codes by default.
  1. Start a meeting in your desktop or browser app.
  2. Click Call via phone in the Audio pop-up window.
  3. Select the correct area code before scanning the QR code.
    Important: International call rates may apply if you select an area code different from your own.
  4. Use your mobile device to scan the QR code.
