Creating meetings that are easy to start/join
Once you have connected your Calendar to join.me, join.me displays a meeting notification one minute prior to the start of every Event (with invitees) that's on your Calendar. It's enough for the join.me app to be running in the background.
Anyone using Alerts style notifications taps to start/join, while folks with Banner notifications swipe.
Follow these guidelines to make it easy for folks to connect:
- Include at least one invitee – Calendar Events without invitees aren't really meetings, so they don't appear in join.me.
- Include your personal link in the Calendar Event's Location or Notes.
For example: join.me/your.personal.link (you do not need to include http:// in your personal link).Tip: If you forget to include your personal link in the Calendar Event, you can open the join.me app and tap .
- Events without join.me info will still trigger a join.me notification one minute before the meeting. You can tap the join.me notification to start a meeting using your personal link.
Result: Invitees receive a meeting update with your personal link.
