How do I configure a Panasonic KX-KDE/NCP SIP trunk?
Trunking between a Panasonic PBX and GoTo Connect allows your current hardware to use their existing functionality, while adding some additional cross-platform functionalities with GoTo Connect phones.
Note: This guide assumes that the reader is comfortable with configuring a Panasonic BTS system. As it only entails registering the KDE/NCP device to GoTo Connect to receive calls and ensure proper call handoff. Any other PBX configurations – such as licensing and routing decisions (hunt groups, schedules, etc.), would need to be configured separately by the reader. It also assumes that the reader has been provided the SIP credentials that are required to register and connect with GoTo Connect.
First, connect to the PBX.
Second, set/verify the IP Settings.
Third, install the V-SIPGW16 card.
Fourth, configure the VSIP-GW16 card.
Fifth, configure GoTo Connect Trunk Registration Settings
Sixth, configure the DID Table.
Lastly, set the per Extension outgoing caller ID.
These steps are optional.
