You can override the default caller ID for those lines that require something different. This is helpful for lines that have their own phone number directed to them or when giving everyone in a specific department the same caller ID. Whatever your reason, the caller ID selected for a line will be displayed when making outbound calls to an external number.

1. Log in at

2. Click Lines in the left sidebar and then click the line that requires changes.

3. From the General tab > Outbound Call Options section, set the External Caller ID field to Use and then choose the desired phone number.

4. Click [SAVE].
